👀 The Role
Title: Game Art Lead
Team: Product
Location: UK, Remote
We’re looking for an experienced Game Art Lead to define and own the visual direction for a growing portfolio of digital games. This is an opportunity to shape the visual identity of an exciting new product area from the ground up, establishing the creative vision, quality standards and player experiences across multiple products.
The role combines creative leadership with hands-on execution, working closely with Product and Engineering to deliver polished, premium experiences. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys defining artistic direction while remaining actively involved in design and production.

You will:
- Define and evolve the visual style across a growing portfolio of digital games.
- Establish and maintain a consistent visual language across multiple products.
- Set quality standards for UI, animation, visual effects and in-game art.
- Ensure all player-facing experiences feel polished, engaging and cohesive.
- Create high-quality 2D game assets and user interfaces.
- Design animations, transitions and player feedback interactions.
- Produce visual assets that enhance gameplay and usability.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
- Partner with Product and Engineering throughout the development lifecycle.
- Review work, provide constructive creative feedback and champion visual quality as the team grows.
The next Midniter:
- Has significant experience in a senior Game Art, Art Direction or Creative Leadership role.
- Has a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality game art, UI and motion design.
- Has experience defining and maintaining art direction across multiple products.
- Understands animation principles, interaction design and player feedback.
- Has experience designing for mobile and/or web platforms.
- Is confident working within multidisciplinary Product and Engineering teams.
- Can balance creative strategy with hands-on execution.
- Has exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating premium digital experiences.
