Game Developers, Gameplay Programmers & Technical Game Designers. Remote AI Project
We are seeking experienced Game Developers, Gameplay Programmers, Technical Game Designers, and Game Engine Specialists to contribute to a remote AI project focused on game creation, debugging, gameplay systems, and interactive software development.
You will build small game projects, create realistic gameplay bugs and feature challenges, define clear success criteria, and develop reference solutions that help evaluate advanced AI systems on real game development tasks.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build small-scale games, prototypes, levels, or interactive scenes using a major game engine.
- Create realistic gameplay bugs that require actual playtesting, visual inspection, and technical debugging to identify and resolve.
- Develop feature challenges involving multiple gameplay systems, mechanics, scripts, and in-game interactions.
- Write clear task briefs that resemble instructions from players, designers, producers, or development leads.
- Create complete reference solutions for bug fixes, gameplay features, and technical challenges.
- Define precise success criteria including user inputs, expected visual results, gameplay behavior, and verifiable game states.
- Playtest each task from start to finish to confirm that it is reproducible, solvable, and technically sound.
- Identify edge cases and ensure tasks cannot be solved through superficial or hard-coded approaches.
- Document technical assumptions, expected behavior, and implementation details clearly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
