Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Voodoo is creating a small experimentation team with a big mission: find the next best way to entertain the world by taking one of our best hits, Crazy Kick to a new level.

Role

As a Game Lead, you will be the owner of your game and team. Your mission will be to define the right direction, build the team, and drive execution with speed, focus and ambition.

During the first 6 months, your main focus will be on improving the core gameplay: making the game more satisfying, juicy, exciting and fun to play, before scaling the rest of the product.

You will:

  • Build and lead your own small team, starting with around 4 people
  • Set clear goals and make sure the team reaches them
  • Lead, inspire and motivate the people working on the game
  • Focus first on improving core gameplay, game feel, pacing and player satisfaction
  • Identify what makes the game fun today and what could make it much stronger tomorrow
  • Monitor and improve key game metrics such as retention, playtime, engagement and monetization
  • Be involved and hands-on across all aspects of game development: game design, level design, UI/UX, tech, art and product decisions
  • Continuously improve the internal process of game creation and iteration
  • Manage your team’s performance and growth, keeping a high talent bar and helping strong people develop
