Are you a talented Video Editor with a passion for games, cinematic storytelling and creating world-class marketing content?

We're seeking an experienced Video Editor to join a leading AAA game development studio, supporting the team behind the next chapter of one of gaming's most beloved fantasy franchises. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with developers, artists and content creators to bring breathtaking game worlds to audiences around the globe.

About The Role

As a Video Editor, you will work closely with the Media and Content teams to create compelling video content that showcases the game, engages players and supports global marketing campaigns. You'll combine expertise in game capture, cinematography and editing to create high-quality content across a variety of formats, including trailers, promotional videos, social content and internal presentations. From capturing gameplay footage through to delivering polished final assets, you'll play a key role in shaping how players experience and connect with the game before launch and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical and creative aspects of video production and has a passion for crafting memorable visual stories.

What You'll Do

Game Capture & Content Creation

  • Capture high-quality gameplay footage and screenshots across console, PC and game engine environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to stage, sequence and capture engaging gameplay moments.
  • Create visually compelling content that highlights key features, mechanics and storytelling moments.
  • Develop content suitable for both internal and external audiences.

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit and produce polished video content using captured gameplay footage.
  • Create marketing materials including:
    • Trailers
    • Promotional videos
    • Social media content
    • Campaign assets
    • Internal showcase materials
  • Apply strong storytelling principles to create engaging narratives and emotional impact.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand standards and creative direction.

Creative Development

  • Work with Content and Marketing teams to define visual styles and creative approaches.
  • Contribute ideas that enhance audience engagement and storytelling.
  • Apply cinematography principles including:
    • Framing
    • Composition
    • Lighting
    • Pacing
    • Visual storytelling
  • Help establish and maintain a consistent visual identity across content.

Review & Refinement

  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into content revisions.
  • Maintain high standards of quality throughout the production process.
  • Deliver assets that meet project objectives, timelines and creative expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines to achieve the best possible outcome.

Industry Awareness

  • Stay informed about evolving content trends, video formats and industry best practices.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve production quality and creative effectiveness.
  • Apply new techniques and approaches to enhance content performance.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • Proven professional experience in video editing and post-production.
  • Experience within the games, entertainment, film or media industries.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video content and storytelling.
  • Experience creating marketing and promotional assets.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced experience with:
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe After Effects
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of professional editing workflows and post-production pipelines.
  • Experience preparing content for multiple channels and formats.
  • Strong understanding of video codecs, exports and delivery requirements.

Desirable Skills

  • Motion graphics and compositing experience.
  • Familiarity with cinematic and sequencing tools, such as:
    • Unreal Engine
    • Unity
    • MotionBuilder
  • Experience working directly with game development teams.
  • Background creating AAA game marketing content.
