Game Heads is a mobile gaming entertainment company based in Camberley, Surrey, specializing in mobile gaming van experiences for events and private functions.

Role Description

The Gaming Van Driver / Host is a part-time, weekend-only, self-employed or employed role responsible for driving the gaming van to scheduled locations and hosting gaming sessions for events, parties, and corporate functions.

  • Safely transporting the van
  • Setting up and shutting down gaming equipment
  • Ensuring all consoles, screens, and accessories are functioning correctly
  • Welcoming guests
  • Explaining game options and rules
  • Assisting players during sessions
  • Creating a fun, inclusive atmosphere

The Driver / Host will manage bookings, communicate with clients about event details, and handle basic troubleshooting of gaming setups. This role also requires maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the van, adhering to safety procedures, and representing Game Heads in a professional manner during all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Strong gaming and eSports knowledge, with the ability to guide players through different titles and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with guests, clients, and team members.
  • Good analytical skills for assessing player needs, managing schedules, and resolving minor technical issues.
  • Valid UK full manual driver’s license with a safe driving record and experience in operating larger vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to varying event environments.
  • Basic technical skills for setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining gaming consoles and audio-visual equipment.
  • Experience in event hosting, hospitality, or entertainment is beneficial.
  • Be based within 15 minutes of Camberley, Surrey.
  • Looking for hires to start from September 2026.
