Ganger / Working Supervisor (Civils)
£45,000-£50,000 + OTE £65,000 + Overtime + Door-to-Door Pay + Training + Progression
Location: Swindon
Are you a Ganger or Working Supervisor with hands-on experience working on water, utilities or pipeline projects, looking for a stable role that offers long term progression?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established contractor that has been operating for over 25 years, working on major water and civil engineering projects. The company offers long-term stability, ongoing training, two annual bonuses, overtime, door-to-door pay and opportunities to progress within the business.
In this hands-on supervisory role, you will coordinate the site team and oversee deep excavation and water infrastructure works. You will organise labour, plant and materials, assist with setting out pipework and chambers, and oversee the installation of ductile iron and HDPE pipework, fittings, valves and associated civil works.

This role would suit a Ganger, Working Supervisor or similar with a background in water, utilities or pipeline construction who is comfortable leading a team while remaining hands-on. SSSTS and relevant banksman/slinger qualifications are required.
The Role
- Supervise teams carrying out deep excavation and water infrastructure works
- Organise labour, plant and materials
- Coordinating excavator lifting operations, banksmen and safe systems of work
- Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8am-5pm - 45 hour week
- Up to 10 hours overtime per week, paid at time and half
