Ganger/Civils Chargehand (Sizewell C)
Kier Sizewell C
Duties will include:
- Leading and coordinating a small team of civils operatives
- Highways and road construction works
- General groundworks and civils
- Excavation and reinstatement
- Drainage, ducting and utilities works
- Allocating daily tasks and supporting site supervision
- Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
- Monitoring progress and maintaining good site standards
- Supporting the coordination of labour, plant and materials within the work area
Applicants must hold:
- Valid SSSTS
- Valid CSCS card appropriate to their trade and experience
- Relevant NVQ Level 2 or above in a construction or civil engineering discipline
- Any additional CPCS/NPORS plant tickets would be advantageous
- EUSR 1 & 2 or utility-related competencies would also be beneficial

Applicants should have:
- Previous experience as a Chargehand, Lead Groundworker or Civils Chargehand
- Strong experience on civil engineering, highways or road projects
- Experience leading or coordinating small teams
- Good practical knowledge of groundworks and general civils
- Experience of drainage, ducting and utilities works would be advantageous
- Previous experience on major infrastructure projects would be beneficial
