About The Role
Based in Croydon, this full-time Garage Door Engineer post involves repairing, servicing and maintaining domestic and commercial doors, alongside diagnosing faults and delivering first-class customer care. Working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm, the successful candidate needs strong practical abilities, proven fault-finding skills and knowledge of maintenance or mechanical assembly. Good communication, close attention to detail and the capacity to work alone or within a team are essential. A full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points is required, plus prior experience in field service or door manufacturing. Manual handling and heavy lifting form part of daily duties.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Garage Door Engineer to repair, service and maintain garage doors, diagnose faults and provide excellent customer service.

You’ll Need
- Strong practical and fault-finding skills
- Maintenance and/or mechanical assembly knowledge
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous experience in Field Service or Garage Door manufacturing
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
