Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom for Garage Equipment Engineers. In this role, the engineer will install, commission, service, and repair a wide range of workshop equipment at customer sites. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Performing planned preventive maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out corrective repairs
- Ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently

The engineer will complete service reports, maintain accurate records, and communicate clearly with customers and the internal support team about work carried out and any recommended actions. The role also involves adhering to health and safety standards, supporting continuous improvement of service processes, and occasionally assisting with training customers on the proper use and care of installed equipment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for heavy-duty workshop or industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues on complex machinery and systems.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with experience in commercial vehicle or industrial equipment environments.
- Understanding of Automation and control systems related to workshop or lifting equipment.
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering).
- Ability to read technical drawings, service manuals, and equipment specifications.
- Strong commitment to health and safety, risk assessment, and safe working practices on customer sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work independently and as part of a field service team.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer locations across the region.
