Our Hillier Garden Centre at Weyhill is a popular destination for gardening enthusiasts, offering a wide range of plants, gifts and outdoor living products. Our on-site restaurant is a key part of the experience, providing our customers with delicious, freshly prepared dishes, cakes and beverages.
We Are Looking for a Kitchen Porter
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our restaurant team and help create memorable dining experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Porter, you will assist with kitchen operations by:
- Washing dishes
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks
- Ensuring the kitchen area remains tidy and organized
These responsibilities help ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and provides an excellent dining experience for customers.

Job Details
This is a full-time permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week averaged over a two-week work pattern, worked on a rota basis and including some weekend working.
Hourly rate of pay up to £12.71 per hour. Actual pay will be determined in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.
