Garden Designer – Creative Gardens and Driveways Ltd (Cheshire)
Location: Primarily home-based, with site visits across Cheshire
Employment Type: Full time – (possibility to work 4 days per week)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Creative Gardens and Driveways are looking for an experienced Garden Designer to join our dynamic and friendly team based in Cheshire. This unique role offers the best of both worlds – the stability and support of being part of an established company, combined with the freedom and flexibility typically associated with self-employment.
Role Overview
- Location: Home-based with regular site visits across Cheshire.
- Schedule: Commitment to minimum 4 days per week.
- Type: Long-term, year-round role.
- Workspace: Must have a dedicated home office with space for an A1 printer (printer supplied).

Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their vision and define clear design briefs.
- Create both inspiring concept designs and detailed technical plans.
- Produce schedules of work, planting plans, and Bills of Materials.
- Undertake site surveys and assessments.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and Operations Director to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in high-end domestic garden design and landscaping.
- Strong CAD skills (ideally Vectorworks).
- Solid horticultural knowledge and planting design experience.
- Understanding of construction detailing and landscape materials.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
