Our Garden Management team is growing!
We are looking for up to four Gardeners to join our growing Garden Management team in Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for people who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work and have a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful gardens to the highest standards.
We welcome applications from individuals at a range of experience levels, from those seeking to start a career in horticulture through an apprenticeship, to gardeners looking to further develop their skills and experience. Whether you are at the beginning of your journey or already have a solid foundation in place, we can offer the opportunity to develop your career, working in some of the most inspiring gardens in the area.

Key responsibilities:
- Carry out garden management duties in private and commercial settings (including pruning, weeding, planting, hedge cutting, lawn care and other related tasks).
- Maintain clients' gardens to a consistently high standard.
- Liaise with clients in a polite, friendly and professional manner.
- Completing tasks efficiently and productively through seasonal planning.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a passion for the environment and horticultural practices.
- Be able to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
- Be a brand ambassador for Nicholsons, living out our company values of creativity, dedication and passion for the planet.
- Willing to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Have a strong commitment to health and safety and quality.
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

Desirable:
- Relevant gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
Either:
- Seeking an apprenticeship opportunity.
- Pursuing or holds an RHS Level 2 qualification.

This is a full-time position:
- Monday – Friday
- 7.30am - 4.30pm.
