Shancastle Farm, Moniaive, Dumfries and Galloway, DG3 4HA.
We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and highly motivated Gardener to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and developing an exceptional and diverse estate.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced horticultural professional to take ownership of a varied landscape that includes historic parklands, orchards, woodlands, productive kitchen gardens, species rhododendron collections, glasshouses, and ornamental gardens. The successful candidate will be committed to the highest standards of horticulture and take pride in creating and maintaining beautiful, thriving outdoor spaces.

Competitive Salary based on experience.
Hours per week are subject to change:
- 35 hours / 5 days per week in summer seasons
- 28 hours / 4 days per week in winter seasons
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience across a broad range of horticultural disciplines
- A comprehensive knowledge of horticulture and arboriculture
- Experience operating a wide range of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment
- A valid UK driving licence
- A recognised chainsaw certification
- The ability to work independently while leading and delivering on the estate's horticultural vision
- A proactive approach to garden management, maintenance, and improvement
