We are on the lookout for a skilled and versatile Gardener and Maintenance Person to join our team here at The Mallard, Tidbury Green, the newest pub to join the B&P family, opening its doors Autumn 2026.
Right now, The Mallard is undergoing an extensive transformation, with a full refurbishment bringing new life to this beautiful pub. As we get ready to reopen this Autumn, this is your chance to come onboard from the very beginning and help shape something truly special. Bring your green thumb and maintenance expertise to enhance the charm of our surroundings.

Your Bread and Butter
- Up to £14 per hour plus tronc (that’s your card tips that are paid into your bank)
- Paid overtime
- Part time or full time positions available.

About You...
You will love gardens and gardening and you’ll have a good general knowledge of plants and horticulture. You’ll be looking after our flower borders, planters and hanging baskets as well as cutting the grass and generally keeping the pub surroundings neat and tidy. You’ll also be confident in carrying out general maintenance tasks such as painting, woodwork, and basic plumbing.
