Garment Technician
Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for a Garment Technician. You will play a key role in product development and production, overseeing quality from size specifications and sampling through to fabric testing and production assessments. You will ensure products are safe, fit for purpose and meet the required quality standards, while supporting commercial performance.
The company we are partnering with is a multi-channel B2C consumer business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the sample and fit process from development through to production, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Assess samples against specifications and approve fit, performance and manufacturing requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical and quality issues throughout production.
- Work with Product, Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure consistent sizing, fit and timely delivery.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and factories to maintain quality and specification standards.
- Support the investigation and resolution of product returns and quality issues.
- Conduct technical audits of manufacturing sites and ensure compliance with required standards.
- Provide technical expertise and recommend corrective actions where required.

Requirements
- Ideally having 1-2 years proven experience in a clothing/fashion environment, with strong knowledge of production and quality management.
- Can come from a background from suppliers, retailers, factories or manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of critical path and fit processes.
- Experience using PLM software is desirable.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercially minded with the ability to use data to support informed decisions.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and a data-led approach to decision-making.
- Confident in problem-solving and making decisions independently.
