What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Garment Technologist that has experience working across lingerie, swimwear, nightwear, and beachwear.

What will your duties be as a Garment Technologist?

  • Managing weekly fit sessions on multiple sized models
  • Managing the sealing process and flagging any delays to the buying team
  • Sending clear, concise and accurate fit comments within the week
  • Liaising with supplies in the UK and abroad including the Far East
  • Working closely with the design / buying and merchandising teams
  • Reviewing tech packs with designers to assess material and construction requirements
  • Reviewing graded size specs and advising suppliers where they need to be amended
  • Thorough understanding of product testing with the ability to review test reports and highlight any issues the buying team
  • Ensure all products comply with REACH legislation
  • Liaising with the warehouse QC department on bulk inspections - any issues need to be dealt with in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that our high fit and quality standards are maintained at all times
  • Constantly looking for ways to push and improve the quality and fit of the brand

What are we looking for in you?

  • Educated to Degree level
  • At least 5 years experience with either a retailer or supplier across lingerie, nightwear and swimwear product categories
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience of reading and analysing test reports
  • Have extensive knowledge of bra construction and manufacturing techniques
  • Factory experience would be beneficial
  • Sustainability experience would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Prop 65 would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail with good organisation skills
  • Proactive and enjoy problem solving
  • Ability to multi task and maintain focus when under pressure
  • A confident communicator at all levels
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
