Garment Technologist / Product Developer (Part-time 3 days PW)

Overview

We are working with a highly successful fashion business who are looking for a Garment Technologist / Product Developer to join their dynamic team on a part-time basis.

The Garment Technologist / Product Developer will work across multi product ladieswear, menswear, and childrenswear.

The Garment Technologist / Product Developer will provide technical guidance to cross functional teams, ensuring the fit, quality and construction of garments meet the required standards, whilst working closely with overseas factories throughout the development process.

Garment Technologist / Product Developer Responsibilities

  • Measuring and inspecting samples.
  • Attending fit sessions, making fit comments, and sending fit comments to the overseas factories.
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with internal customer technologists.
  • Conducting tests and analysing test reports.
  • Creating size specifications.
  • Liaising closely with factories overseas.
  • Working closely with customers design and product development teams.
  • Ensuring garments meet required fit, quality, and construction standards.
  • Identifying and resolving any technical issues throughout the development process.

Additional Information

The Garment Technologist / Product Developer will ideally be able to adjust digital patterns and have previous experience in a similar role, with good knowledge of working across multi product ranges.

This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week.

Salary: £55,000 pro rata.
