Role Description
As a Gas Engineer you will carry out installation, service, and repair work on gas appliances and central heating systems in domestic housing (private landlords), commercial and hospitality settings across Northern England, ensuring all tasks meet safety regulations and industry standards. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, completing plumbing and heating repairs, and supporting wider building and facilities maintenance as required. The role involves working closely with colleagues, planning jobs efficiently, and providing clear, professional communication with clients on site. Accurate completion of job records, adherence to company procedures, and maintaining tools and equipment in good working order are also key aspects of the position.

- Previous experience attending breakdowns of domestic and lite commercial heating systems
- Strong ability to fault find and diagnostic experience
- Able to work alone and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Based within the Yorkshire / Manchester area.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimal Qualifications – CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CSCS & Asbestos preferred (would be put through test if don’t currently hold)
Remuneration
- Full-time position
- £40k - £50k salary (Depending on experience)
- Overtime availability
