Are you an experienced Gas Heating Engineer and Plumber looking for a permanent role offering a competitive salary, varied work and the opportunity to earn more through overtime and emergency call-outs?

AAM Maintenance Ltd is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team, working across commercial and domestic properties throughout London.

This is a varied role where you will use your experience across boiler servicing, repairs and installation, commercial plant room maintenance, gas safety inspections and plumbing works. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card for work purposes, with the option of private use of the van at an additional charge.

Varied commercial and domestic work across London

Overtime and emergency call-outs are flexible depending on weather and market needs and are linked to the agreed salary package. Further details will be discussed at interview.

The Role

Your work will include:

  • Servicing, repairing and replacing commercial and domestic boilers
  • Carrying out gas safety inspections and testing in line with current regulations
  • Maintaining commercial plant rooms
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying the most appropriate solution
  • Carrying out gas works following inspections and testing
  • Repairing leaks and replacing boiler and heating components
  • Boiler fitting and carcass replacement or updating
  • Completing repairs to a high standard with a right-first-time approach
  • Completing detailed daily job reports using Protean
  • Working safely and in full compliance with health and safety regulations

What We’re Looking For

You will need:

  • A recognised gas trade qualification
  • Gas Safe commercial and domestic qualifications and suitable experience
  • Domestic ACS Gas Safe certification, including CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT, CEN1 and CPA1
  • At least five years’ plumbing experience
  • Experience in commercial plant room maintenance
  • The ability to diagnose faults and complete high-quality repairs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good punctuality and the ability to work within target response times
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • Your own tools and drills
  • An unvented hot water qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. CSCS is preferred.
