Purpose of Role
- Support Gas and pipeline NGL marketing strategy development and execution
- Contract management and transmission system operator (TSO) liaison
Critical Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation, and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities
- Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility, and Competence
Gas Marketing
- Support gas originators to maximise revenue from gas sales
- Understand the marketing strategy for each gas and pipeline NGL stream in compliance with the Harbour Energy Commodity Marketing Standard
- Be involved in counterparty and contract management of all Gas Sales/Purchase Agreements/EFETs (including internal purchase arrangements)
Gas Marketing Operations
- Accurately capturing and verifying transaction details and incoming invoices in relevant systems
- Liaise with BU/Commercial and assist in the centralised capture of information for risk and performance management purposes
- Generate reports on positions, origination activity, P&L, and other relevant metrics
- Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risk

Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.
- Relevant degree qualified professional
- Understanding of European and UK gas markets
- Familiarity with trading platforms (ideally Aspect)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and experience in undertaking marketing activities
- Stakeholder management and negotiation skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to learn from and influence others
- Strategic thinking with robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Resilient under pressure and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
