Operational Planner
We are currently recruiting an Operational Planner to join our Gas team. This is a key role, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of day to day emergency repairs and providing clear communication to our customers.
Hours: Thursday 8am - 4:30pm & Friday 8am - 4pm

Duties include:
- Plan and schedule day to day and emergency repairs using our Repairs System.
- Forecast and manage diaries of our trade colleagues and liaise with customers to update them.
- Organise work and replan appointments where necessary, sometimes at short notice due to absence.
- Identify and resolve any issues in normal operations and manage schedule disruption.
- Update systems to ensure continuity of communication.
- Speak with customers to resolve any outstanding issues and organise appointments.
- Allocate Repairs / planned maintenance / Servicing / cyclical works.
- Monitor and deal with queries / appointments from Customers / Customer Services & Engineers that may contact bespoke M&E phone lines.
- Monitor Central Email box and arrange appointments with customers.
- Assist in Arranging Boiler installs, plan, customer contact.
- Order van stock replenishments and non van stock materials, schedule revisits at a convenient time to the customer along with organising engineer's diaries.

Requirements
- Excellent IT skills and able to operate multiple systems effectively.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks with excellent diary management.
- Experience of planning and scheduling repairs in a housing, property maintenance, or similar operational environment is advantageous.
- Extensive customer service experience, with excellent communication skills.
- Diary management experience or excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
- Commutable distance of BD17 7BN and able to work hybrid.
- Right to Work in the UK - Visa Sponsorship is not available.
