Role Description

The Gas Safe Registered and Domestic Plumber role at 7Regen is a full-time, on-site position based in Greenock. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining domestic plumbing and heating systems, including boilers, pipework, fixtures, and associated controls. Daily tasks include:

The plumber will also support sustainable solutions such as energy-efficient systems, advise customers on best practices, complete accurate documentation, and collaborate with other trades on renovation and restoration projects.

Qualifications

  • Gas Safe registration with proven experience in domestic gas installation, servicing, and repair.
  • Strong domestic plumbing skills, including installation, maintenance, fault finding, and system upgrades.
  • Knowledge of relevant UK building regulations, safety standards, and best practices for sustainable and energy-efficient systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment, and complete accurate job reports.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work professionally in occupied homes and on active construction sites.
  • Demonstrated reliability, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally as required.
  • Relevant plumbing and heating qualifications or apprenticeships; additional certifications in renewable or low-carbon technologies are an advantage.
