Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Gas Safe Service and Maintenance Engineer role based in Bradford. The engineer will carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on gas-fired heating and associated HVAC systems in commercial and residential properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance
- Conducting safety checks
- Ensuring compliance with Gas Safe regulations and relevant standards
- Responding to breakdowns
- Identifying faults
- Replacing parts
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation

The engineer will also liaise with clients on-site, provide clear advice on system performance, and collaborate with colleagues to support efficient delivery of projects and maintenance contracts.
Qualifications
- Strong background in equipment maintenance, with experience working on gas-fired boilers, burners, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance engineering and maintenance & repair, including diagnostics, fault finding, and component replacement.
- Experience with preventive maintenance activities, planned service schedules, and compliance-focused inspections.
- Skills in electrical maintenance related to heating and air conditioning equipment, including safe isolation and basic wiring checks.
- Valid Gas Safe registration (or eligibility to obtain), with up-to-date knowledge of relevant UK regulations and standards.
- Trade qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical, gas, or building services engineering (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics, complete clear service reports, and use digital tools for job management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to working safely and responsibly on client sites.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between client locations as required.
