The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Gas Service Engineer to join our Gas Compliance team and deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of domestic gas appliances and installations across our housing portfolio. Working closely with residents, colleagues, and contractors, you will deliver an efficient and responsive service in line with current legislation, industry standards, and organisational procedures.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across our housing portfolio. A company van will be provided to support you in carrying out your duties.
About You
We are looking for a positive, motivated, and efficient individual who embodies our values of being Kind, Inclusive, Trustworthy, and Progressive.
You will have:
- Gas qualifications - CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CMDDA1 (Older qualifications - CEN1, WAT1, CPA1).
- Proven experience of carrying out gas servicing and repairs within a housing environment.
- The ability to manage your own workload and work on your own initiative.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to health and safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and improving tenant satisfaction.
- A full, valid UK driving license.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to deliver a safe, reliable, and customer-focused service for our tenants.
Our engineers work remotely and travel directly to customers’ properties throughout Rhondda Cynon Taff. A fully stocked van and uniform will be provided.
We operate a 24-hour emergency service for our tenants and therefore require participation in an out-of-hours rota. Overtime opportunities are also available as required.
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
