Working Pattern: Full-time (36 hours per week)

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Gas Service Manager to join our Building Compliance & People Safety team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of our statutory gas safety and repairs service, ensuring thousands of residents remain safe while driving service improvements, contractor performance, and compliance excellence.
You'll work with senior leaders, contractors, and partners to shape the future of gas safety across the borough, using data, innovation, and strong leadership to deliver an outstanding customer-focused service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the delivery of the Council's gas safety compliance and repairs service.
- Managing high-performing contracts and holding contractors to account.
- Ensuring full compliance with all gas safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring KPIs, budgets, and performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Leading on risk management, resident safety, and service quality.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Extensive experience managing gas safety compliance services.
- Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing contracts, budgets, and contractor performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for delivering safe homes and excellent customer service.
- The ability to lead change and continuously improve services.
