Role Overview
This role requires deep practical and design office experience in design, manufacturing and specifications of Turbine blades, Compressor Blades and Vanes. This must be coupled with a strong capability to convert the knowledge into models and drawings that support delivery of conforming components into service.
Ability to communicate clearly, without ambiguity with customer stakeholders as well as the internal team, is a very important quality desired in the candidate. This has to be supported by an ability to build technical rapport with customer.

Required Skills (Technical Competency)
- Experience in modelling from point cloud/GOM Scan/Inspection data for Turbine blades, Compressor blades and Vanes
- Experience in manufacturing process planning for bladed components such as Turbine blades, Compressor blades and Vanes
- Development of model and definitions for investment castings and machining for Turbine blades, Compressor blades and Vanes
- A good knowledge of inspection methods and some knowledge of material associated with Turbine blades, Compressor blades and Vanes
- A strong capability in modelling using NX of the above components
- Design definition/ drawings creation.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in Gas Turbine design with hands-on exposure to full engine and component-level development.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in Gas Turbine design with hands-on exposure to full engine and component-level development.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Siemens NX, CATIA, or Creo.
- Demonstrated experience working within integrated product teams.
- Understanding of Manufacturability and Material application.
- Cost modelling experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
