In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our site logistics operations, working closely with drivers, internal teams, and the Gatehouse function. You’ll help manage vehicle flow, documentation, and compliance, contributing directly to safe and efficient operations.
This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to build your experience in logistics administration within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You'll join a small, supportive team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are part of the day-to-day. We know there's a lot to learn, from site processes and documentation to systems and compliance requirements, so you'll receive dedicated support and training during your onboarding.
What You’ll Do
- Support logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site activities:
- Manage inbound and outbound vehicle movements, ensuring safe and efficient site traffic flow.
- Operate Gatehouse and weighbridge activities, supporting daily site logistics operations.
- Liaise with drivers and logistics partners to ensure compliance with site safety and PPE requirements.
- Support transport and logistics activities, including driver instructions and coordination on site.
- Prepare and manage delivery documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support compliance and traceability.
- Work closely with transport and site teams to ensure smooth coordination of loading and unloading activities.
- Support general administrative tasks within the logistics function.
- Learn and develop knowledge of site logistics processes, systems, documentation requirements, and compliance procedures, supported by structured onboarding and training.

Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in logistics administration, transport, gatehouse, warehouse administration, or similar operational environments is beneficial but not essential.
- Confident using computers and systems, with experience of Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as Infor M3 is an advantage, but training will be provided.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately when managing documentation and records.
- Able to prioritise tasks, stay organised, and adapt when priorities change throughout the day.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to supporting the team.
- Flexible and willing to support colleagues during busy periods and holiday cover.
What You’ll Receive
- 25 days of holiday per calendar year based on full-time working hours.
- Structured onboarding with dedicated support from experienced team members.

- Opportunity to work within a global organisation.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. Some flexibility is required to support operational needs, and we aim to offer the same flexibility in return.
- Team structure: You'll work as part of a two-person logistics administration team, with overlapping shifts to ensure support and continuity throughout the day.
