Company Description
CML (Part of the Culina Group) provides integrated supply chain services and expertise for food and drink products that require strict refrigerated temperatures to the discount retailers.

We are now looking to recruit for a Gatehouse Operative at CML Telford on a Full time and permanent position.
Job Description
Shift: 4ON 4OFF Nights - 18:00pm-06:00am.
Salary: £28619.42 - £29619.42 per annum.
To provide access control in a busy warehousing environment ensuring that all visitors, contractors and haulage drivers are controlled and briefed upon entry according to company policy.
To enhance current security of the company, its site, resources and personnel conducted.
Electronically recording the entry and departure of vehicles and loads into the main truck yard.
Conducting exit security checks.
Liaising with the warehouse and the Shunter driver when directing loads in.
Briefing drivers on behaviour and expected standards when on site.
Understand all fire procedures and actions in the event of alarm activation.

Temperature monitoring of the fridges and reporting of temperature faults.
Liaising between emergency services and outside agencies in the event of an incident.
Conducting random searches of staff vehicles and baggage.
Conducting routine patrols around the site both internally and externally to provide a security presence.
To act as a visual deterrence against potential criminal elements.
To report all incidents and occurrences through the chain of command when necessary.
Qualifications
- Smart, Polite and courteous personality
- Positive outlook to work and focussed on achieving targets
- Able to work quickly and efficiently
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Computer literate
- Able to conduct foot patrols of the site and premises
- Good team player
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to commit to the company
