We're looking for an experienced Google Cloud Data Engineer to join an established data platform team, working on high-volume CDC and real-time data ingestion projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and enhancing GCP-based data pipelines
- Working with Cloud Datastream, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub & Cloud Storage
- Developing scalable CDC solutions from SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB into BigQuery
- Optimising BigQuery performance and data lake architecture
- Supporting production pipelines, troubleshooting and continuous platform improvements

What we're looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Expertise in BigQuery and real-time data ingestion
- Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu (IaC)
- GitLab CI/CD knowledge
- Strong understanding of data engineering best practices and production support
- Experience with secure GCP networking (Private Service Connect, VPN, Interconnect) is highly desirable
