GCP DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP DevSecOps Engineer to help design, implement, and secure cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle while enabling rapid, scalable, and reliable application delivery.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud technologies, automation, infrastructure as code, security best practices, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard DevOps tools
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar technologies
  • Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes
  • Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, availability, and cost
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
  • Collaborate with developers, security teams, and architects to ensure secure delivery practices
  • Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with:
    • Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
    • Cloud Build
    • Cloud Run
    • IAM
    • VPC Networking
    • Cloud Monitoring & Logging
  • Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and cloud security frameworks
