We are seeking a UK-based GCP Infrastructure Engineer
For an initial three-month contract, with potential extension. This is a UK hybrid engagement aligned to CET hours, with periodic travel within the UK, ideally one or two trips every two months.
Non-negotiable eligibility

- Current active UK Security Clearance
- Ability to work on a hybrid basis in the UK and travel periodically within the UK
The role
You will help deliver and support secure Google Cloud infrastructure for a restricted environment. The work requires hands-on infrastructure engineering, automation, networking and Kubernetes delivery, including disconnected or air-gapped platforms.

Required experience
- Previous hands-on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure delivery
- Google Distributed Cloud, GDC, in an air-gapped or disconnected environment
- Fabric Fast Customization
- Infrastructure as Code
- Terraform
- Automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Networking, connectivity and landing zones
- Google Kubernetes Engine, GKE
- Secure platform deployment, troubleshooting and operational support
- Strong English communication
Engagement details
- Initial duration: three months, with potential extension
- Location: United Kingdom, hybrid
- Working time zone: CET
- Travel: periodic UK travel, ideally one or two trips every two months
- Candidate reviews and meet-and-greets: first two weeks of September
