GCP Platform Engineer - £100K+

Our client is one of the world’s leading FinTechs.

With a global reach, they build award-winning trading, payment, and banking software.

They’re growing in London (with great WFH flexibility) and are looking for a strong GCP and Platform Engineer to join them to support and evolve their Cloud solution, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, automated infrastructure, and release engineering.

You’ll manage platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and security and you’ll be able to develop and implement systems enhancements, design new automated infrastructure, and implement deployment pipelines in a sophisticated Cloud (GCP) environment as well as researching new tools.

  • Experience in a similar DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role
  • Great knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform – Data Proc, Data Flow, Big Query, etc.
  • Experience of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
  • Experience with Kubernetes containers (Docker useful too)
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
  • Good understanding of Linux infrastructure
  • Experience with Big Data and Hadoop would be ideal too
