Role: Cloud Security Engineer

Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

Pay Rate: £650 - £750 per day

Location: Remote, candidates must be based in the UK

About the Role

The Cloud Security Engineer role is required on a contract basis (Inside IR35), paying £650 - £750 per day. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the UK.

The successful candidate will support an ongoing transformation to expand the organisation's security product roadmap and automating escalations across GCP, Azure, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the transformation to expand the organisation's security product roadmap
  • Automate escalations across GCP, Azure, and AWS

Required Experience

  • Hands-on experience with GCP services
  • Experience working in regulated environments, ideally financial services
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Java
  • Expert-level knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, security controls, and cloud security tooling
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Experience with Wiz
  • Strong container expertise, particularly Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience automating operational processes using Chef or similar configuration management tools
