Job Title: GCP Technology Consultant / GCP Lead Consultant / Java & React GCP Consultant
Location: Crawley, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid – 10 Days WFO per Month
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Description
We are looking for experienced GCP Technology Consultants, GCP Lead Consultants, and Java/React GCP Consultants with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Volt MX (Kony).
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GCP Cloud Services, Java Development, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Cloud Integrations, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using the Volt MX (Kony) platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Develop scalable and secure Java Microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Build modern front-end applications using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work extensively with GCP services, including Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
- Design and develop REST APIs and cloud-based integrations.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads using Kubernetes/GKE.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, availability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality GCP cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, GCP, APIs, and cloud integrations.
- Follow best practices for cloud architecture, application development, deployment, monitoring, and security.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong knowledge of GCP Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and cloud-based integrations.
- Experience with Volt MX / Kony Platform is highly desirable.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application development and microservices architecture.
- Good understanding of application security, scalability, performance optimization, and reliability.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
