Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a GCSE Tutor at FcC. The tutor will deliver interactive online lessons in GCSE-level subjects, primarily English and Math, following FcC’s curriculum and teaching standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The tutor will assess student performance, identify learning gaps, and adapt instruction to different learning styles and abilities. Additional duties include:
- Maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance
- Communicating with parents or guardians as needed
- Collaborating with the academic team to continuously improve teaching materials and methods
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in GCSE English and/or Math, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, age-appropriate way.
- Demonstrated experience in online or classroom-based tutoring or teaching, ideally with GCSE or equivalent exam preparation.
- Capability to use digital tools and virtual classroom platforms effectively for live, interactive instruction.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills to support learners of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Ability to plan structured lessons, monitor progress, and provide constructive, timely feedback.
- Relevant academic qualification in Education or a subject-related field; teaching certification or tutoring experience is an advantage.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable remote working environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusive teaching practices, and continuous professional development.
