GDS Specialist
As a GDS Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of customer service. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely solutions, contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns via various channels (phone, email, chat).
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Utilize GDS systems to process travel-related requests, including reservations, ticketing, and cancellations.
- Provide comprehensive and accurate information about our products and services.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and feedback.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient issue resolution and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Support the implementation of improved customer service processes and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest GDS system updates and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 1 year (accumulative) hands-on experience with a Global Distribution System (GDS) is mandatory.
- Call center experience is not a requirement.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities are key.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Flexibility to work in a shifting schedule.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- A customer-centric approach and a positive attitude.
