I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As a GE Activation Lead, you will serve as the tactical engine driving the adoption of Gemini Enterprise (GE) across Google Cloud’s accounts. Your primary mission is to industrialize AI excellence by moving licenses from sold to activated, with a relentless focus on increasing Weekly Active Users (WAU) and ensuring production-grade deployment of AI agents and workflows.

In this role, you will lead the GE Accelerator efforts, acting as the bridge between Google’s AI product roadmap and partner field execution. By arming partners with technical architecture and programmatic, you will help customers move beyond pilot phases into full-scale production-grade deployments that meet the standards of operational impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the end-to-end activation model, guiding partners through stages from value establishment to active transformation. Manage partner performance using a 5-KPI scorecard focusing on the number of deployments, WAU alignment, partner headcount with GE seats, practitioner delivery experience, and pipeline health.
  • Oversee the deployment and continuous improvement of the activation library, including technical assets such as ROI calculators, business cases, and workshops designed to help partners activate seats and prove customer value.
  • Facilitate coordination between Customer Account Leads (CALs), Customer Engineers (CEs), Professional Services (PSO), and partner engineers to troubleshoot technical blockers and maintain a clear log of product issues for feedback to engineering.
  • Identify customer solutions and transform them into repeatable Ecosystem Playbooks. Translate successful partner-led transformations into global design patterns
