GenAI / LLM Engineer – 2 month contract – Fully Remote - £450-£550 per day – Outside IR35
GenAI / LLM Engineer to support the delivery of a production-grade Generative AI solution within a regulated financial services environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on LLM pipelines, RAG, document processing and agentic AI, using AWS technologies including Amazon Bedrock and OpenSearch.
Candidates must have experience taking GenAI solutions beyond proof-of-concept and into real production environments.

Essential Experience

- Strong hands-on experience delivering production GenAI/LLM solutions, rather than purely prototypes or POCs.
- RAG architecture for complex, document-heavy applications.
- Amazon Bedrock or significant equivalent managed LLM platform experience.
- Amazon OpenSearch, including vector search, k-NN and hybrid retrieval.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI or similar frameworks.
- Document processing technologies such as Amazon Textract, PyPDF or Unstructured.io.
- Designing multi-agent or tool-use architectures.
- GenAI evaluation, hallucination detection, validation and confidence-scoring techniques.
- Experience delivering technology within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Understanding of PII, sensitive data handling, audit trails and information security requirements.
