The General Asset Manager – North Hoyle will be based at Port of Mostyn and be part of the Offshore Operations UK Region 1 team. The role has full responsibility for the safety, environmental, operational and financial performance of the North Hoyle Wind Farm, ensuring delivery of owner expectations while maximising long-term asset value. You will report to the General Manager – Rhyl Flats and lead a team of three direct reports.

About the role

  • Lead the overall safety, environmental, operational and financial performance of North Hoyle Wind Farm
  • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement operational and maintenance strategies that maximise availability, energy yield and long-term asset value
  • Manage the relationship with the asset owner and ensure delivery of all obligations under the Management Services Deed
  • Lead, develop and inspire the site team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement mindset
  • Oversee budget planning, cost optimisation initiatives and the management of operational, financial and commercial risks
  • Manage key interfaces with internal functions, contractors and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, authorities, industry partners and local stakeholders

Job requirements and experience

  • Degree in engineering, business, renewable energy or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Extensive leadership experience with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy generation assets, including operational performance drivers and asset economics
  • Demonstrated experience in operational and strategic decision-making within asset-intensive industries
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with budget management and value optimisation
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver continuous business improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, including experience engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and a passion for health, safety and environmental excellence
