Fooditude is looking for a General Assistant to join our team at our vibrant client site based in Holborn, Central London. You'll be at the heart of our workplace catering service - helping serve up freshly cooked hot lunches with a daily-changing menu that keeps things exciting. Beyond mealtimes, you'll keep things running smoothly by welcoming deliveries, stocking up supplies, and making sure the tea, coffee, drinks, and snack areas are always topped up and looking their best.
If you've got a can-do attitude, enjoy being part of a team, and love keeping people happy (and well-fed!), we'd love to hear from you.
Please note this is a physical hands-on role, so you'll be comfortable with light physical tasks, including moving stock, setting up equipment, and supporting the operation as needed.
This is an ideal position if you're looking for a part-time role to fit in with your daily life. The working hours are 12 per week, Tuesday to Thursday from 10:30am to 2:30pm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
