The Blakeney Hotel is an award-winning, four-star, 64-bedroom, privately owned, and family-run hotel located in an unrivalled position on the Quay in Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast.
We are seeking a General Assistant
We are seeking a General Assistant to help and support various departments in the hotel. This is a great opportunity for someone that wishes to gain more experience with the view to progress in their career in hospitality, or someone who would like a varied and busy role working across all or some departments.

- Greeting and serving food and beverages to guests (if assisting restaurant, bar, and/or porters)
- Looking after guests while maintaining a friendly, polite, and courteous attitude.
- Supporting the bar, restaurant, housekeeping, kitchen, and porters (can be all of these departments or restricted to one or two areas depending on preference and/or experience)
- Cleaning of the front of house areas (and bedrooms if assisting housekeeping)
Role would suit candidate with:
- A polite, friendly, and courteous attitude.
- Hospitality experience (useful but not essential as full training provided)

Working Hours
Full-time, Part-time, and temporary positions available covering early, mid, and late shifts, on a rota basis including weekends.
