As a General Assistant (Cleaner), you'll play a vital role in creating that experience. From maintaining immaculate gym floors and changing facilities to supporting the overall presentation of the club, your work will help ensure every member enjoys a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
This is a 20-hour-per-week position, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has great attention to detail and enjoys being part of a team that delivers high standards every day.

Job Description
The Role
We're looking for a reliable and organized General Assistant to join our team in Swindon, United Kingdom. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our operations, providing essential support across multiple departments and functions. Your attention to detail, positive attitude, and collaborative spirit will help ensure our organization runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll work independently while supporting the wider team to achieve our goals and deliver exceptional results.

- Organize and maintain office spaces, supplies, and equipment to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed
- Identify and report maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, and operational challenges promptly
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, organization, and presentation at all times
- Support the team in delivering an exceptional experience for colleagues and clients
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Reliable, organized, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for supporting others
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and email systems
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines efficiently

Desirable
- Previous experience in an administrative, facilities, or general support role
- Experience working within corporate, hospitality, retail, or commercial environments
- Knowledge of health and safety standards, and professional protocols
Full training will be provided to support your success in this role.
