General Assistant

Established in 2002, the Reflex Group is now the largest privately owned print and packaging company in the UK, employing over 1000 people across multiple global sites. We pride ourselves on quality, efficiency, ethics, innovation, and maintaining a low environmental impact.

We are currently looking for a General Assistant to join our team at the Barwell site.

Full-Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern

A rotating shift pattern of week 1: 5.45 – 13.30 Monday, 5.30 – 13.30 Tuesday to Friday and week 2: 13.20 – 21.10 Monday to Thursday and 13.20 – 21.00 Friday

Role Overview

As a General Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the site by helping maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment both inside and outside the facility. The role will mainly involve waste management, keeping work areas tidy, and assisting different departments whenever additional support is needed.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone reliable, adaptable, and willing to help wherever required. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collecting and disposing of waste and recyclable materials from around the site.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation inside and outside the building.
  • Keeping designated waste areas tidy and compliant with company standards.
  • Ensuring outdoor areas are kept clean and presentable.
  • Following all company health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
  • Providing general assistance to different departments as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • No previous experience required — full training will be provided.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to adapt and assist with different tasks when needed.
  • Reliable and hardworking with good timekeeping.

  • Physically capable of carrying out manual duties.
