Salary: £12,054 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our catering team.

Working as part of a friendly team, you’ll help ensure our catering and service areas are kept clean, safe, and well-presented, while supporting the smooth delivery of food and beverage services.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across catering areas
  • Assisting with food and beverage service, clearing tables and servery areas
  • Washing kitchen utensils and crockery
  • Supporting basic food preparation and stock replenishment
  • Completing cleaning rotas and checklists
  • Reporting any equipment issues or spillages
  • Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures
  • Supporting and coaching new team members
  • Attending relevant training and working flexibly across the school site when required

  • Has good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Has previous experience in a similar environment (desirable)
  • Has excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Can follow instructions and work effectively under pressure
  • Is a positive team player with a willingness to learn
  • Takes pride in their work and can meet deadlines and targets
  • Is flexible and reliable
  • Holds a full driving licence for full-time positions
