We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our catering team.
Working as part of a friendly team, you’ll help ensure our catering and service areas are kept clean, safe, and well-presented, while supporting the smooth delivery of food and beverage services.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across catering areas
- Assisting with food and beverage service, clearing tables and servery areas
- Washing kitchen utensils and crockery
- Supporting basic food preparation and stock replenishment
- Completing cleaning rotas and checklists
- Reporting any equipment issues or spillages
- Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures
- Supporting and coaching new team members
- Attending relevant training and working flexibly across the school site when required

We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has good literacy and numeracy skills
- Has previous experience in a similar environment (desirable)
- Has excellent communication and attention to detail
- Can follow instructions and work effectively under pressure
- Is a positive team player with a willingness to learn
- Takes pride in their work and can meet deadlines and targets
- Is flexible and reliable
- Holds a full driving licence for full-time positions
