Role Summary

General Assistant Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality and safety of food products.

Key Responsibilities

• Measuring and classifying all raw materials in preparation for production
• Measure, decant, mix, batch, and cook ingredients to Variety Process Sheet requirements
• Control the temperature and automated processes for making products
• Monitor the food safety and quality of the product and record results during the production process to Master Process Sheet requirements
• Fill, cook, and label the finished goods in preparation for shipment
• Clean the machinery and other parts of the production space
• Report machine faults and raise to supervision / maintenance as required
• Maintain work areas and equipment in a good hygienic state
• Comply with Golden Rules, KHMS, and all 3rd party requirements
• Report concerns relating to product safety, authenticity, legality, and quality
• Efficiently operate manufacturing machinery, monitoring safety and quality of all equipment and produce
• Identifying and reporting defects
• Proactively identifying ways to improve OEE
• Completing effective shift handovers
• Proactively solving ad-hoc problems with lines
• Working within our KHMS operating model
