Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Builder role located in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The General Builder will carry out day-to-day construction tasks including basic carpentry, bricklaying, groundwork, and general repairs, ensuring work is completed safely and to specification. The role involves working closely with site managers and other trades, maintaining a tidy work area, and following health and safety procedures. The General Builder will also interact professionally with clients and suppliers, report progress, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in general building work, including basic carpentry, bricklaying, and groundwork.
  • Strong practical skills in using hand and power tools, with an understanding of safe working practices.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and reading simple plans or drawings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively on-site.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with UK construction health and safety regulations and willingness to follow company policies.
  • Full UK driving license and reliable transport to Stratford-Upon-Avon and surrounding sites is beneficial.
  • Relevant trade qualifications, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent on-site experience are highly desirable.
