General Catering Assistants
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week and 4 on 4 off 22.25 hours per week
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Location: Amazon EUK5 and EUK1 Peterborough PE2 9FT

Job Description
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to process orders accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Set up tables, chairs, and other dining areas before opening and arrange them appropriately.
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and service areas regularly.
- Ensure the café's cleanliness and tidiness by sweeping, mopping, and taking out rubbish.
- Monitor and restock condiments, napkins, cutlery, and other supplies as needed.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report any shortages to the management.
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Be aware of COSHH regulations and use appropriate protective equipment when using chemicals.
- Adhering to dress code policies. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist team members when needed, such as running food or drinks to tables during busy periods.
- Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and cooperation.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Follow proper hand hygiene procedures and maintain personal cleanliness.
- Ensure the café is compliant with health and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications
- Full, UK driving licence (Desirable)
- Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (Desirable)
- Level 2 H & S Qualification (Desirable)
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
