We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Catering Manager to take overall responsibility for a large and complex B&I catering operation within a prestigious central London Head Office.
This is a high-profile, fast-paced environment where exceptional food, service and client experience are at the heart of the operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full management of the contract, leading a substantial team and ensuring consistently high standards across all areas of the business.
The Role
As General Catering Manager, you will have full operational accountability for the contract, leading the team and ensuring the highest standards across food quality, service delivery, people management and client satisfaction.
You will work closely with the client and internal stakeholders to develop the operation, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the contract consistently exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Full operational management of a large and complex B&I contract
- Leading, motivating and developing a large team
- Ensuring exceptional standards across staff dining, hospitality and events
- Managing client relationships and acting as a senior point of contact
- Driving service excellence and continuous improvement
- Overseeing financial performance, budgets, costs and commercial targets
- Ensuring all food safety, health & safety and compliance standards are maintained
- Supporting the development of innovative food and service concepts
- Managing high-profile events and hospitality requirements
- Building a strong team culture and developing future talent
About You
We are looking for an established General Manager / General Catering Manager with experience managing a large-scale, complex B&I contract, ideally within a corporate, professional services or law firm environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Proven experience managing a large team and complex catering operation
- Strong B&I contract catering experience
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- A strong understanding of hospitality, events and staff dining
- Proven financial and commercial management experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and high service standards
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a large team
- A professional, polished and engaging personality
- The confidence to operate within a prestigious, high-expectation environment
