Catering Manager | Leicestershire | £38,000 + Bonus
Looking for your next leadership opportunity in contract catering? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading contract catering business for an experienced Catering Manager to lead a busy three-outlet catering operation in Leicestershire.
Leading a team of 12 colleagues, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, delivering exceptional staff dining, hospitality and retail catering while driving commercial performance and maintaining the highest operational standards.
The Role
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of 12 colleagues
- Manage a busy three-outlet catering operation
- Deliver exceptional staff dining, hospitality and retail catering services
- Manage budgets, purchasing, labour planning and food costs
- Produce forecasts and maintain strong financial controls
- Build positive client and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and company standards
- Drive continuous improvement across the operation

About You
- You'll have previous management experience within contract catering, hospitality or food service, with a proven ability to lead successful teams and deliver excellent operational results.
- You'll ideally have:
- Catering Manager experience within a busy food service environment
- Experience managing multiple catering outlets
- Food Hygiene Level 3
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of food safety, allergens and health & safety legislation
- A passion for delivering exceptional food and customer service
