Overview

As a Consultant in Hunter’s Digital Solutions Team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of digital transformation projects across the healthcare sector. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you’ll apply structured problem-solving approaches, contribute to analysis and solution design, and build your consulting skillset. It’s an ideal step for those looking to accelerate their consulting career while working at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

Key Accountabilities

Client Delivery

  • Support the delivery of workstreams or project components, ensuring outputs are high-quality and aligned to client needs.
  • Apply structured tools and methodologies under guidance to contribute to the design and evaluation of digital health solutions.
  • Assist with workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement to gather insights and data.
  • Create clear and professional deliverables, such as: presentations, reports, and analysis summaries, for internal and external use.

Client Management

  • Support day-to-day interactions with client stakeholders, representing Hunter in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Develop an understanding of client priorities and contribute to positive working relationships.
  • Participate in meetings, note actions and decisions, and ensure timely follow-up on assigned responsibilities.

Growth & Practice Development

  • Contribute to internal knowledge development, including methods, templates, or insight gathering.
  • Assist in proposal writing and preparation by researching relevant content or data.
  • Take part in initiatives that support Hunter’s growth, such as thought leadership, case study development, or events.

Team Contribution

  • Collaborate closely with project teams and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Actively seek feedback and support personal development by learning from peers and senior colleagues.
  • Engage with internal communities of practice and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Person Specification

  • 1–3 years’ experience in Strategy, Digital, or Management Consulting within healthcare or a comparable sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to engage with clients and colleagues.
  • Analytical and structured thinker, with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Adaptable and organised, able to manage tasks across multiple priorities.
  • Degree-qualified (2:1 or above preferred) in a relevant discipline.
  • Willingness to travel for client delivery, collaboration with colleagues, and company events as required.
